Today's video is all about the MARGARITA cocktail and its variations. I make a classic three-ingredient Margarita, Frozen Strawberry Margarita, a Blueberry Margarita without the blender, Smoky Margarita with Mezcal and a very strange Green Beast Margarita.

Ingredients

Classic Margarita

  • 1½ oz. — 2 oz. / 45-60 ml Tequila blanco
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Cointreau / Triple sec
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Rim the glass with sea salt
  • Shake, Cocktail glass

Frozen Strawberry Margarita

  • 1 cup / 150 grams Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 oz. Tequila blanco
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Agave or Simple syrup
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • A handful of ice, if you’re using fresh strawberries
  • Garnish with a fresh Strawberry
  • Blender, Margarita glass

Blueberry Margarita

  • 20-25 grams Fresh blueberries
  • ½ oz. — ⅔ oz. / 15-20 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Tequila Reposado or Añejo
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Simple or Agave Syrup
  • A few dashes Orange bitters
  • Garnish with a couple of Blueberries on a stick
  • Muddle, Shake, Old fashioned glass with ice

Smoky Margarita

  • ⅔ oz. / 20 ml Mezcal joven
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Tequila Añejo
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Triple sec
  • ⅔ oz. / 20 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • A little bit of smoke, using a smoker
  • Rim one side of the glass with black salt
  • Shake, Old fashioned glass with an ice ball

Green Beast Margarita

  • 1 ½ oz. / 45 ml Tequila blanco
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Elderflower liqueur
  • ⅓ oz. / 10 ml Agave syrup
  • ⅔ oz. / 20 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Pineapple juice
  • 1 dash Tabasco hot sauce
  • ¼ small Avocado
  • Garnish with a pinch of Tajin spice
  • Shake, Highball glass with ice, if needed
