Making cocktails from SUPER MARIO franchise, on the occasion of the release of the Super Mario Bros. movie. Cocktails are inspired by characters from the game: Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser and Piranha Plant and garnished accordingly.
Ingredients
Piranha Plant Cocktail
1½ oz. / 45 ml Vodka
1½ oz. / 45 ml Mint liqueur
⅔ oz. / 20 ml Lemon juice
Top up with Tonic water
Garnish with a Strawberry on a straw
Mario
2 oz. / 60 ml Vodka
1 oz. / 30 ml Blue curacao
1 oz. / 30 ml Orange juice
½ oz. / 15 ml Lemon juice
½ oz. / 15 ml Simple syrup
½ oz. / 15 ml Grenadine
Garnish with a Lemon wheel
Princess Peach
2 oz. / 60 ml Peach liqueur
1 oz. / 30 ml Vodka
1 oz. / 30 ml Cranberry juice
1 oz. / 30 ml Orange juice
1 oz. / 30 ml Pineapple juice
Garnish with a Peach candy ring
The Koopa King (Bowser)
1½ oz. / 45 ml Dark or Spiced rum
½ oz. / 15 ml Overproof rum
¾ oz. / 22 ml Triple sec (or other Orange liqueur)
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 oz. / 30 ml Lime juice
¾ oz. / 22 ml Pineapple juice
¾ oz. / 22 ml Mango juice
2 dashes Tabasco hot sauce
¾ oz. / 22 ml Cinnamon syrup (or Simple syrup + a cinnamon stick)
Garnish with 2 red chili peppers, lime half and a lit sugar cube
