PINA COLADA is made with Cream of coconut (not coconut cream), which is essentially a coconut syrup. I made my own cream of coconut and then blended a great Pina Colada with it.
Ingredients
Cream of Coconut
- 300 grams / 1½ cups of Coconut Milk
- 300 grams / 1½ cups of Sugar
Frozen Pina Colada
- 1 cup / 200 grams Pineapple (cubed and frozen)
- 5 Ice cubes
- 2 oz. / 60 ml White rum
- 1½ oz. / 45 ml Cream of coconut (not Coconut cream)
- ½ oz. / 15 ml Lime juice
- Garnish with Pineapple leaves and a Pineapple wedge
