Halloween is coming soon, so here are creepy yet tasty cocktails! I'm mixing 4 unique drinks: the fiery Vampiro, the mysterious Black Dragon No. 616, the bold Lenin Penicillin, and the smoky Coco, which we'll be tasting with my friend Natasha dressed as Wednesday Adams. Perfect for your Halloween party or a spooky night in.

Ingredients

Vampiro

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Tequila Reposado
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Tomato juice
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Orange juice
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Lime juice
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Grenadine
  • A couple dashes of hot sauce
  • 2-3 drops of 20% saline solution
  • Garnish with a Cajun spice rim
  • Shake, Sling glass with ice

Lenin Penicillin

  • 1¾ oz. / 50 ml Vodka
  • ⅓ oz. / 10 ml Pepper vodka
  • ?-⅓ oz. / 5-10 ml Islay smoked Scotch whisky
  • ¾ oz. / 20 ml Lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. / 20 ml Honey-ginger syrup
  • ⅓-½ oz. / 10-15 g Gorgonzola cheese
  • Garnish with Lemon peel
  • Shake, Rocks glass with ice

Black Dragon #616

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Brandy
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Cold coffee
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Amaro
  • ¼ oz. / 7-8 ml Vanilla syrup
  • Top up with Stout or Porter beer (approx. 3-4 oz. / 90-120 ml
  • Shake (except beer), Skull-shaped glass with ice

Coco

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml Mezcal (or 30 ml Mezcal + 15 ml Tequila Anejo)
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Dry Vermouth
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Elderflower liqueur
  • ⅓ oz. / 10 ml Italicus Bergamot liqueur (optional, reduce Elderflower liqueur a bit)
  • 2-3 dashes Orange bitters
  • Stir in an Old fashioned glass with ice
  • Garnish with Lemon peel
