Let's mix 5 easy and delicious cocktails using only pantry staples like vodka, gin, jam, lemon juice, and soda. No rare liquors needed! From a refreshing Floradora to a bold Coffee-Vodka Jam Smash and a crisp Cucumber Cooler. My friends Natalia and Vitalik taste-test and share their thoughts.

Ingredients

Floradora

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml London Dry Gin
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Lime or Lemon juice
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Homemade Ginger syrup
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Raspberry jam
  • Garnish with Fresh Raspberries and/or Lemon peel
  • Shake, Collins glass with ice

Cucumber Cooler

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Cucumber Vodka (1 medium-sized Cucumber, peeled, deseeded and chopped, 500 ml of Vodka, 48 hours)
  • 4-5 Cucumber slices
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Simple syrup
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Lemon or Lime juice
  • Top up with Tonic or Club soda
  • Garnish with a Cucumber ribbon
  • Shake, Collins glass with ice

Coffee-Vodka Jam Smash

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Coffee-infused Vodka (30 g coffee beans, 500 ml vodka, 24 hours)
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Lemon juice
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Cherry or blackberry jam
  • Top with Club soda or Tonic water
  • Garnish with a Lemon twist
  • Build in a Collins glass with ice

Tea & Berry Sparkler

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Gin or Vodka
  • 2 oz. / 60 ml brewed Earl Grey black tea (cooled)
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Blueberry jam
  • Top up with ~2 oz. / 60 ml of Tonic or Soda water
  • Garnish with Lemon peel or a Couple of bluberries
  • Shake, Cocktail glass

Spice Trail aka Golden Hour

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Brandy (Bourbon or Vodka)
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Spiced syrup
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Ginger syrup
  • Top up with 3 oz. / 90 ml Club soda
  • Shake, Goblet glass
  • Garnish with Lemon peel or Cinnamon stick
