There were a lot of sodas with unique flavors In the USSR, and since I was born in Moscow, I decided to make cocktails using these soviet-era flavors: Tarkhun, Cream soda, Baikal and Barbaris.

Ingredients

Tarkhun Twist

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Vodka
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Lime juice
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Simple syrup
  • 6-8 fresh tarragon leaves
  • Top up with Tarkhun soda
  • Garnish with Tarragon sprig

Creamy Vanilla Fizz

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml Vodka
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Vanilla syrup
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Top up with Cream soda
  • Garnish with a Lemon twist

Baikal Breeze

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Vodka
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Cranberry juice
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Lime juice
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Simple syrup
  • Top up with Baikal soda
  • Garnish with Lime wheel

Berry Breeze

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Gin
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Lemon juice
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Simple syrup
  • Top up with Barbaris soda
  • Garnish with Fresh blueberries (or other berries)
